Prior to its incorporation at SEC, Moro Oil has already purchased two oil truck tankers with 14,000-liter capacity (Nissan V8 tanker truck) and 600-liter capacity (Daewoo mini-tanker) to meet the weekly demands of retail outlets we intended to supply throughout the provinces of South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat and Sarangani. However, our 14kl Nissan tanker is currently undergoing refurbishment for a much better performance, in shaa Allah.
Moro Oil has set progressive measures to acquire more tanker lorries as it prepares for the construction of its own oil bulk depot at Polloc Freeport and Economic Zone, in shaa’ Allah. But financial constraints hinder the Moro Oil from acquiring brand new tankers.
Hence, the Board of Directors of Moro Oil has decided to purchase a 14,000-liter capacity Mitsubishi Fuso tanker which it now uses to haul fuel products from the SEAOIL Sta. Cruz Bulk Terminal in the town of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur Province to the different Moro Oil Filling Stations and other client stations and companies, alhamdulillah.
And to focus exclusively in the hauling of fuel products, the Bangsamoro Oil and Fuels Corporation has decided to form a subsidiary company by the name of BANGSAMORO HAULING AND TRANSPORT CO. which was registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 1, 2016, alhamdulillah. Among the subsidiary company’s purposes is to “engage in hauling and transportation services for persons, goods, cargoes and agri-aqua and petroleum products. This Company will now own and operate all the tanker trucks purchased by Moro Oil.
